Our award-winning short film, ‘Death at Sea’ produced in partnership with HRAS International, dives into the story of Eritara Aati Kairuera, a Kiribati fisheries observer whose untimely death onboard a Tiawanese flagged fishing vessel still raises many unanswered questions in terms of the investigation and access to justice. Despite not yet being publicly released, our film has professionally levered the issue of observer safety back into the international spotlight.
