HRAS International attended the 59th Session of the Human Rights Council on invitation by the Premanent Mission of the Philippines Government in support of a dedicated side event held in the Palais des Nations 19 June 2025.

“No one left adrift: Seafarers at the Cross currents of Commerce, Conflict, and Change” was presented and moderated by the Honourable Maria Teresa T. Almojuela, Assistant Secretary, Office of the United Nations and International Organisations.

HRASI Executive Director, David Hammond, attended a panel session for address seafarers' rights, and spoke on the invited topic of the Geneva Declaration on Human Rights at Sea.
